In the Season 5 prequel (a special feature on the Season 4 DVD) Chloe visits Jack, in Chicago I believe, to inform him that someone is on his trail. Jack then gets chased in an exciting car scene. He does some nifty driving on a construction site which leads to the pursuer crashing, and presumably getting impaled by a pole.
Should this incident be included in the body count?
You make a pretty damn good point. Yes I've seen the prequel and wasn't really sure how to handle that kill. Sadly at this point I have not been focusing on events that transpire between seasons. Much like the prequel's, novels, comic books and the video game.
I get asked alot about how I'm going to handle these extra things. Now that I have a scanner (christmas gift) I think I'm going to do the comic book (have it haven't even read it yet don't hate me!) and that should help get me started. Hopefully mid season 6?
That wasn't a pole, that was a bloody forklift! I think it should definately appear on the site somewhere

Since it occurs 12 months before the events of season 5, and it's not really part of the season, you could set aside a special page for "special" kills, which occur in prequels and the upcoming movie (according to Wiki there will be a 2 hours movie in between seasons 6 and 7)
Presently, only season kills are being tracked on the site. However, there will likely be a "misc" section for random things, such as this, and the dog clips that everyone seems to want so desperately.
Yeah I've posted here a few times that I've thinking about doing a "count" for the comic books and some of the other 24 related media (books prequels etc). I also when I finally get around to playing the 24 videogame I will prob write a post here in the forums regarding that as well. I would
At this point I assume most visitors of the site are interested in just the six seasons so that is what we are concentrating on right now. In due time we will become more comprehensive. :-)
